ニール・ヤングが今年のツアーを延期、フィルム・プロジェクトに取り掛かる

ニール・ヤングが、秋に予定していたクレイジー・ホースとのツアーを来年に延期し、「今年は一連のフィルム・プロジェクトを完成させる」と、自身のウェブサイトで発表しました。
 
ウェブサイト〈Archives Film Projects Take Precedent〉には、ニールが取り掛かっている15本の映像作品のリストが掲載され、そのうちの一つは、年内にリリース予定のニュー・アルバム『Colorado』（当初のタイトルは『Pink Moon』）のレコーディング・プロセスを収録したドキュメンタリー。
 
下記のリストからもわかるように、1971年に行ったアルバム『ハーヴェスト』のレコーディング・セッションや同年のソロ・アコースティック・ショウのほか、懐かしい1976年の日本武道館公演から2012年のツアーに至るまで、ニールの音楽キャリアを振り返る内容になっています。

変わり種は、リストの最後に掲載されているアニメ映画『Trans 2020』で、ニールが1982年に発表したアルバム『トランス（Trans）』の楽曲を使い、ミカ・ネルソン（ウィリー・ネルソンの息子で、プロミス・オブ・ザ・リアルのメンバー）が制作している作品です。
