ヴァン・ダー・グラフ・ジェネレーターのメガ・ボックスセット『The Charisma Years 1970-1978』、9月発売

ピーター・ハミル率いる英プログレッシヴ・ロック・バンド、ヴァン・ダー・グラフ・ジェネレーターが、カリスマ・レコーズ（Charisma Records）時代の全アルバムを収録したボックスセット『The Charisma Years 1970-1978』を9月3日に発売します。

このボックスセットには、17枚のCDと3枚のBlu-ray、68ページのブックレットが収められ、アルバムのリマスター版とボーナス・トラック、BBCセッション、未発表ライヴ音源、貴重なビデオ映像、新たなステレオ・リミックスと5.1chサラウンド・ヴァージョンなどをフィーチャー。そのディスク1のボーナス・トラックから「Refugee」の7インチ・シングル・ヴァージョンが公開されています。

Refugees

収録されたスタジオ・アルバムは、『The Least We Can Do is Wave to Each Other』（1970年）、『H to He Who Am the Only One』（1970年）、『Pawn Hearts』（1971年）、『Godbluff』（1975年）、『Still Life』（1976年）、『World Record』（1976年）、『The Quiet Zone / The Pleasure Dome』（1977年）の7タイトルで、全てのアルバムにボーナス・トラックが収録されており、CD４には「Pawn Heart」のセッションがフィーチャーされています。

また、1978年のダブル・ライヴ・アルバム『Vital』や、1976年12月にフランスのラジオ局が録音し、最近発見されたパリ公演の未発表フル・ライヴ音源も含まれます。

さらに、CD14～CD17には、アルバム４タイトル『H to He Who Am the Only One』『Pawn Hearts』『Godbluff』『Still Life』の新たなステレオ・ミックスが収録されており、ステファン・W・テイラーがオリジナル・マルチトラック・テープからリミックスしています。

なお、Blu-ray #3には、1970年にドイツのTV番組『Beat Club』に出演した時の未公開映像や、1972年にフランスのTV番組『Pop Deux』で放送された同年のパリ・バタクラン公演の未公開映像、「Wondering」と「Cat’s Eye」の未公開プロモーション映像、1978年にオーストリアの野外フェスで収録した20分の未発表ドキュメンタリーなど、貴重な映像がフィーチャーされていますので、詳しくはトラックリストをご参照ください。
