1980年に結成、スコットランドの出身で日本では “ネオ・アコースティック”の代表的グループとして人気を博した、アズテック・カメラの９CDボックスセット『Backwards and Forwards : The WEA Recordings 1984-1995』が、8月27日にチェリー・レッド・レコードから発売されます。

このボックスセットには、バンドがWEAから発表した全5枚のスタジオ・アルバム『Knife』（1984年マーク・ノップラー・プロデュース）、『Love』（1987年）、『Stray』（1990年）、『Dreamland』（1993年、坂本龍一プロデュース）、『Frestonia』（1995年）のほか、B面曲、ライヴ音源、リミックス、レア音源などを含めた全112曲が収録されています。
