ブルース・ディッキンソン、新曲「Rain On The Graves」のMV公開

アイアン・メイデンのフロントマン、ブルース・ディッキンソンが、3月1日発売の新ソロ・アルバム『The Mandrake Project』から、セカンド・シングル「Rain On The Graves」のミュージック・ビデオを公開しました。

この曲は、ディッキンソンがギタリストのロイ・Zと共作したもので、ライアン・マックフォールが監督したMVは、ディッキンソンがイングランド北西部の湖水地方にある、ロマン派の詩人ウィリアム・ワーズワースの墓を訪れたことからインスピレーションを得たそうです。

新ソロ・アルバムのリリースは、2005年の『Tyranny Of Souls』以来19年ぶりとなり、コンセプト・アルバムである新作は、「科学とオカルトの天才を背景にした権力、虐待、アイデンティティをめぐる闘争を描いたダークな大人の物語」になっているとのこと。

なお、ディッキンソンは、５月18日から新作をサポートするソロ・ツアーに乗り出し、10月からはアイアン・メイデンの「The Future Past」ツアーが再開します。
