レベル42、全盛期のアルバム3タイトルがそれぞれデラックス2CDでリイシュー

英ジャズ・ファンク・バンド、レベル42が1983年に発表したアルバム『Standing in the Light』と、1985年の『World Machine』、1987年の『Running in the Family』が、それぞれデラックス2CDで10月25日にリイシューされることになりました。

これら3枚のアルバムには、「The Sun Goes Down（Living It Up）」「Something About You」「Lessons in Love」「Running in the Family」などUKトップ10シングルが6曲フィーチャーされており、特に「Something About You」（アルバム『World Machine』収録）は、全米シングル・チャートでも7位にランクインしました。

各デラックス２CDの2枚目のボーナス・ディスクには、7インチ・エディットや、12インチ・エクステンディッド・ヴァージョン、リミックス、B面曲のセレクションが収録され、中でもアルバム「World Machine」のボーナスCDには、タイトル曲の短いダブ・ヴァージョンが初めて収録されています。

また、2CDを収めた7インチ・スタイルのパッケージには、アルバム収録曲の歌詞と、ボックスセットに関わったサイモン・カーソンとポール・ウォーラーによる序文が付きます。

なお、レベル42は9月19日～24日にかけて、東京、横浜、大阪のビルボードで来日公演が予定されています。
