モリッシーが秋のUSツアーを発表

5月24日に新しいカヴァー・アルバム『カリフォルニア・サン（California Son）』を発売するモリッシーが、15年ぶりとなる4月のカナダ・ツアー（2月20日MLCニュース）に続き、今年の9月5日から10月6日まで、アメリカで14公演を行うと発表しました。このUSツアーには、特別ゲストとして、ニューヨーク出身のロック・バンド、インターポール（Interpol）が出演する予定。

インターポールも、5月17日に5曲入りのEP『A Fine Mess』をリリースする予定で、モリッシーとのツアーに先駆け、5月にはEPをサポートするUSツアーに乗り出します。

またモリッシーは、5月2日から11日まで、ニューヨークのブロードウェイで7公演を予定しており、ザ・スミスのカタログから今回のニュー・アルバムを網羅した楽曲を披露するとのこと。ブロードウェイ公演のチケットは、発売から1時間以内に完売したそうです。
