プロコル・ハルムの『Broken Barricades』がデラックス・ボックスセットで発売

プロコル・ハルムが1971年に発表した5作目のスタジオ・アルバム『Broken Barricades』が、5月1日にボーナス曲入りのデラックス・ボックスセットで発売されます。

このアルバムの時のメンバーは、ゲイリー・ブルッカー (vo/p)、クリス・コッピング (org/b)、ロビン・トロワー  (g/vo)、B．J．ウィルソン (ds)という布陣。本作をリリースして１ヶ月後にはロビン・トロワーがバンドを離れています（後任はデイヴ・ボール）。

今回は、新たにリマスターされたアルバムの他36曲のボーナス・トラック（うち32曲は未発表）が3枚組のCDに収録されており、ボーナス・トラックには、1971年4月にニューヨークで行われた〈WPLJ FM〉コンサートの未発表ライヴ音源（ロビン・トロワーが参加している最後のライヴ音源の一つ）、1971年10月に収録したBBCラジオ１の『Sounds of the 70s』用のセッション、同じく1971年10月にストックホルムで行われたスウェディッシュ・ラジオ・コンサートの未発表音源が含まれます。

また、ボックスセットには、ゲイリー・ブルッカーのパーソナル・アーカイヴから提供されたアイテムや、プロコル・ハルムの大家であるローランド・クレアのエッセイなどを掲載したイラスト付きブックレットも同封されるとのことです。
