タンジェリン・ドリームの大容量ボックスセットが発売
1967年に結成されたドイツ出身の電子音楽グループ、タンジェリン・ドリームの大容量ボックスセット『In Search of Hades: The Virgin Recordings 1973-1979』が、6月14日に発売されます。
16枚組CDと2枚組ブルーレイには、ヴァージン在籍時代にレコーディングした1973年から1979年の楽曲が収録されており、オリジナル・マスターテープから新たにリマスターしたアルバム『Phaedra』『Rubycon』『Ricochet』『Stratosfear』『Encore』『Cyclone』『Force Majeure』や未発表のアウトテイク、ライヴ映像、5.1サラウンド・サウンド・ヴァージョンなどが収録されています。
バンドの創設者で、唯一の生き残りオリジナル・メンバーだったエドガー・フローゼは2015年に亡くなりましたが、残されたメンバーでタンジェリン・ドリームの音楽活動は継続しており、2017年にはアルバム『Quantum Gate』をリリースしています。
