タンジェリン・ドリームのボックスセット『Pilots of Purple Twilight』、10月発売

ドイツの電子音楽グループ、タンジェリン・ドリームのボックスセット『Pilots of Purple Twilight – The Virgin Recordings 1980 – 1983』が、10月16日にUMC / EMIから発売されます。

このボックスセットには、1980年から1983年にかけてヴァージン・レコードから発表したアルバム6タイトルや、未発表音源などが10枚組CDに収められ、アルバム『Tangram』（1980）、『Thief』（1981）、『Exit』（1981）、『White Eagle』（1982）、『Logos Live』（1982）、『Hyperborea』（1983）のリマスター版のほか、1982年のロンドン公演を収録した未発表ライヴ音源（CD6&7）や、1982年の映画『The Soldier』のサントラ（CD5）、1983年の映画『The Keep』のサントラ（CD10）が含まれ、映画『Risky Business』（邦題『卒業白書』）のサントラからの5曲は、CD9の『Hyperborea』にボーナス・トラックとして収録されています。

なお、CD４の『White Eagle』にも、ボーナス・トラックとして未発表曲を収録。また、新たなエッセイやレアな写真、メモラビリアなどを掲載したハードカヴァー本が付きます。

上記のアルバム6タイトルは、ボックスセットのほか、それぞれ単体のリマスター版CDとしても発売されます。
