ゴングがボックスセット『Love From Planet Gong: The Virgin Years 1973-75』を発売
昨年、元メンバーのスティーヴ・ヒレッジを含むメンツで来日公演も果たした、フランスを拠点とするプログレッシヴ／サイケデリック・バンドのゴングが、12枚組CD＋DVDのボックスセット『Love From Planet Gong: The Virgin Years 1973-75』を9月27日にリリースします。
12枚組CDには、ゴングがヴァージンからリリースした最初のアルバム4タイトルとボーナス・トラック、未発表曲、1973年と1974年に行ったBBCラジオ１のジョン・ピール・セッション、1973年から75年に行ったライヴなどが収録されています。
ゴングのメンバーだったスティーヴ・ヒレッジとマイク・ハウレットが、それぞれキュレーターとライヴのミキシングを担当し、2015年に他界したメンバー、デヴィッド・アレンによる未公開アートワークが同封されているほか、64ページのイラスト入りリリック・ブックレットが付いてきます。
