ブランディ・カーライル、初出演の『サタデー・ナイト・ライヴ』で新曲を披露

Brandi Carlile: Broken Horses (Live) - SNL

10月1日に発売されたブランディ・カーライルの最新アルバム『In These Silent Days』が、ビルボードのアメリカーナ／フォーク・アルバム・チャート、トップ・ロック・アルバム・チャート、テイストメーカー・アルバム・チャートで第1位に輝き、カーライルは10月23日、初めて『サタデー・ナイト・ライヴ』に出演しました。

同番組では、最新アルバムからファースト・シングルの「Right on Time」と「Broken Horses」を披露し、カントリー・ミュージシャン／プロデューサーのシューター・ジェニングスがキーボードで参加しています。

また別番組の『Ellen DeGeneres Show』では、米インディ・ポップ・バンドのルシウスと「You and Me on the Rock」を披露しており、その時のパフォーマンス映像が公開されています。

なお、カーライルは、来年6月にスタートする「Beyond These Silent Days」ツアーも発表し、同ツアーには、シンガー／ソングライターのサラ・マクラクランや、ルシウス、米フォーク・ロック・デュオのインディゴ・ガールズらが特別ゲストで出演します。
