上記の公演で演奏した楽曲は、大半がアルバム『Atom Heart Mother』（邦題『原子心母』1970年）、『Meddle』（邦題『おせっかい』1971年）、『Obscured by Clouds』（邦題『雲の影』1972年）の収録曲ですが、1972年の東京公演では、1973年の名盤『The Dark Side of the Moon』（邦題「狂気」）をほぼ丸ごと演奏しています。

ピンク・フロイドは今回、これらの音源を事前に告知することなくリリースしており、著作権保護期間を延長するために公開したようです。

ヨーロッパの著作権法は、1963年以降に録音されたすべての音源について、著作権の保護期間を50年から70年に延長しましたが、録音から50年以内にリリースしていない場合は保護期間延長の対象にならないため、ピンク・フロイドは2015年にも、1965年のEP「Their First Recordings」を同様の理由でリリースしていました。
