ブライアン・ウィルソンとザ・ゾンビーズが北米ジョイント・ツアーを発表

ビーチ・ボーイズのブライアン・ウィルソンとザ・ゾンビーズが、1968年以降の楽曲を披露する北米ツアー「Something Great From ‘68」の日程を発表、8月31日から9月26日まで、15公演が予定されています。

ウィルソンは、お気に入りだと言うビーチ・ボーイズ1968年のアルバム『Friends』と1971年の『Surf’s Up』に収録された楽曲をメインに、レアな楽曲なども披露する予定で、ビーチ・ボーイズのバンド仲間だったブロンディ・チャップリンとアル・ジャーディンが演奏に加わります。

一方のザ・ゾンビーズは、全公演のオープニングで1968年の名盤『Odessey and Oracle』をフルで演奏し、それ以外のヒット曲も披露する予定。ツアー初日と二日目の公演では、現在のラインナップで演奏しますが、9月6日の公演からは、ロッド・アージェントとコリン・ブランストーンにオリジナル・メンバーのクリス・ホワイトとヒュー・グランディが参加します。
