ピーター・フランプトンがビリー・ジョエルのバースデー公演にゲスト出演

5月9日、ビリー・ジョエルが2014年から毎月一度行っているレジデンシー公演がニューヨークのマディソン・スクエア・ガーデンで行われ、この日がちょうど70歳の誕生日になったジョエルのステージに、ピーター・フランプトンがゲスト出演しました。

フランプトンは、自身のヒット曲「Show Me the Way」と「Baby, I Love Your Way」をジョエルと共演し、アンコールで再びステージに戻ると、ジョエルの「You May Be Right」にギターで参加しました。その時のパフォーマンス映像3本が公開されています。

また、フランプトンは6月7日にブルースのカヴァー・アルバム「All Blues」をリリース（5月7日MLCニュース参照）しますが、収録されているB.B.キングのカヴァー曲「The Thrill Is Gone」のオーディオ・ビデオも公開されています。
