ジョニ・ミッチェルが初めて書いたオリジナル曲「Day After Day」、デモ音源公開

9月11日のMLCニュースでお伝えしたように、ジョニ・ミッチェルのアーカイヴ・シリーズ第1弾となるボックスセット『Joni Mitchell Archives Vol 1：The Early Years（1963-1967）』が10月30日に発売されることになり、収録されている「Day After Day」のデモ音源が公開されました。

「Day After Day」は、ミッチェルが初めて書いたオリジナル曲で、1965年8月24日にデトロイトでレコーディングされたもの。ボックスセットのCD2「Myrtle Anderson Birthday Tape : Detroit, MI （1965）」に収録されています。

ミッチェルは、「私が初めて書いた曲で、良い曲なのかどうかもわからなかった」と語っています。
