アース・ウィンド＆ファイアーとアイズレー・ブラザーズが「Verzuz」で対戦、アイズレー・ブラザーズは新曲「Friends And Family」のMVも公開

「Verzuz」は、プロデューサーのティンバランド（Timbaland）とスウィズ・ビーツ（Swizz Beatz）が制作したウェブキャスト・シリーズで、主にR&Bとヒップホップを象徴する2人（2組）のアーティスト（バンド）を招き、およそ3時間のセッション中にお互いのヒット曲で対戦するというもの。今回の対戦では、コメディアンのスティーヴ・ハーヴェイとベテランDJのD-ナイスがホスト役を務めました。

このバトルに実際の勝者は存在しませんが、バトルを分析した『ビルボード』誌の採点によると、ボーナス・ラウンドも加味した結果、16勝10敗4引き分けでアイズレー・ブラザーズの勝利になっています。
