ヴァン・モリソン＋エリック・クラプトン、新曲「The Rebels」のアニメーションMV公開

Slowhand & Van - The Rebels (Eric Clapton, Van Morrison)

ヴァン・モリソンとエリック・クラプトンが、Slowhand & Van名義で新曲「The Rebels」をリリースし、アニメーション・ミュージック・ビデオを公開しました。

この曲は、モリソンが5月7日にリリースした最新ソロ・アルバム『Latest Record Project: Volume 1』（3月4日MLCニュース）の収録曲「Where Have All the Rebels Gone？」を二人がデュエットしたヴァージョンです。

MVには、「Wanted : Rebell（指名手配の反逆者）」のポスターと共に、アクセル・ローズ、ロバート・ジョンソン、カート・コバーン、ジミ・ヘンドリックス、モーターヘッドのレミー・キルミスターらのアニメーションがフィーチャーされています。

なお、新曲「The Rebels」の収益金は、モリソンが新型コロナで影響を受けたミュージシャンらを支援するために立ち上げた「Van Morrison Official Rhythm & Blues Foundation」に寄付されます。
