クイーン＋アダム・ランバート、イタリア公演でプッチーニのアリア「Nessun Dorma」をカヴァー

クイーン＋アダム・ランバートが7月10日、イタリアのボローニャで「Rhapsody」ツアーの公演を行ない、プッチーニ作曲のオペラ「トゥーランドット」のアリア「Nessun Dorma」（邦題「誰も寝てはならぬ」）を初めてカヴァーしました。

この曲は、ルチアーノ・パヴァロッティが著名な歌い手として知られており、1990年にイタリアで開催されたFIFAワールドカップの前夜祭で、「三大テノール」の公演が行なわれた時にもハイライトになりました。

ブライアン・メイは、この即興ヴァージョンを歌ったアダム・ランバートを絶賛し、インスタグラムで次のように綴っています。

「昨夜、ボローニャへの突発的なプレゼント!!!　さすがアダム!!!　今は亡き親愛なる友人、ルチアーノの笑顔が見える!! 今夜はロックしよう!!!」
