ニック・ケイヴ＆ウォーレン・エリスの新ライヴ・アルバム『Australian Carnage – Live at the Sydney Opera House』が、8月25日にデジタル・リリースされ、12月1日にヴァイナルで発売されることになりました。

同作から、「Balcony Man（Live at the Sydney Opera House）」のリリック・ビデオが公開されています。

このアルバムには、昨年11月～12月にオーストラリアで行なった「Carnage」ツアーから、12月16日～18日のシドニー・オペラハウス公演の模様が収録されており、ケイヴは次のように語っています。

「長い間離れていたウォーレンとのオーストラリア・ツアーは、近年のハイライトの一つでした。こじんまりした劇場やアートセンターでの演奏から、ハンギング・ロックでの広大で高揚感のある夜、そしてシドニー・オペラハウスでの最後の3夜に至るまで、どのショウも感動的で忘れられないものでした。シドニー・オペラハウスでの録音を共有できることに興奮していますし、私たちがこれらの公演で得た高揚感の10分の1でもお伝えできればと願っています。決して忘れることはないでしょう」
