シカゴ、クリスマス・ソングのベスト盤『Greatest Christmas Hits』11月3日発売

シカゴが11月3日、クリスマスをテーマにしたコンピレーションを2作同時に発売。45曲収録の3枚組『Christmas Complete』と、そこからさらに絞り込んだ13曲収録のベスト・アルバム『Greatest Christmas Hits』をリリースしました。

選曲は、「Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow」や「All Over The World」、ドリー・パートンをフィーチャーした「Wonderful Christmas Time」など、シカゴ1998年のクリスマス・アルバム『Chicago XXV：The Christmas Album』、2003年の『What’s It Gonna Be, Santa?』、2011年の『Chicago XXXIII：O Christmas Three』、2019年の『Chicago XXXVII：Chicago Christmas』からのそれぞれ45曲と13曲が収録されており、上記1998年と2003年のクリスマス・アルバムは今年、アメリカ・レコード協会（RIAA）からゴールド・ディスクに認定されました。

なお、現在ツアー中のシカゴは、11月23日の「感謝祭（サンクスギヴィング・デー）」に、ニューヨークのデパート〈メイシーズ〉が開催する恒例のパレードに参加する予定です。
