ジョン・ウェットン、10CDライヴ・ボックスセット『Concentus』11月発売

キング・クリムゾンやエイジアで活躍したジョン・ウェットン（2017年67歳没）の10CDライヴ・ボックスセット『Concentus：The John Wetton Live Collection, Volume I』が、11月15日にスピリット・オブ・ユニコーン・ミュージック（Spirit Of Unicorn Music）から発売されることになり、トレーラーが公開されました。

本作は、ウェットンのライヴ作品を記念する3部構成のボックスセット・シリーズの第1弾としてリリースされ、1995年の初ライヴ・アルバム『Chasing The Dragon』、1996年の『Akustika: Live in America』、1998年の『Hazy Monet』、2003年の『Live In Osaka』と『Live In Argentina』、これまで未発表だった『Akusticha & Progfest 1997』と『ADAMA』がフィーチャーされています。

全てのアルバムが新たにリマスターされており、ウェットンのアーキヴィスト、リック・ネルソンが特別にキュレーションを手掛けたボックスセットには、『Prog Magazine』の編集者、ジェリー・ユーイングによる詳細なライナーノーツが付きます。

この作品について、ウェットンの親友でエイジアのバンド仲間だったジェフ・ダウンズは次のように語っています。

「これらの楽曲とレコーディングは永遠に生き続け、リスナーに喜びをもたらすでしょう。ジョンは我々全員に贈り物を残してくれました。それは非常に貴重なものです」
