スティーリー・ダンの「Sweet」ツアーがスタート
8月27日、スティーリー・ダンの「Sweet」ツアーがオハイオ州で幕を開け、唯一のオリジナル・メンバー、ドナルド・フェイゲン率いるバンドが、アンコール2曲を含む全19曲を披露しました。
オリヴァー・ネルソンのカヴァー「Teenie’s Blues」からスタートし、1976年のアルバム『The Royal Scam』収録の「Sign in Stranger」や、ヒット曲の「Hey Nineteen」「Peg」「Aja」に続き、「リキの電話番号（Rikki Don’t Lose That Number）」では観客がダンス、アンコールには「Reelin’ in the Years」と、ジョー・ウィリアムズのカヴァー「A Man Ain’t Supposed to Cry」を披露しました。
この日のセットリストと、ファン撮影のライヴ映像「Reelin’ in the Years」が公開されています。
スティーリー・ダンは、今年の5月8日から11日まで、ラスベガスで2度目のレジデンシー公演「Reeling in the Chips 2」を行い、「Sweet」ツアーは、11月9日まで続きます。（5月8日MLCニュース参照）
