ヴァニラ・ファッジのボックスセット『Where Is My Mind? The Atco Recordings 1967-1969』、9月発売

ヴァニラ・ファッジが1967年～1969年にアトコ・レコードからリリースした全アルバムのボックスセット『Where Is My Mind? The Atco Recordings 1967-1969』が、9月27日にチェリー・レッド・レコードのレーベル、エソテリック（Esoteric）から発売されることになりました。

9CDのボックスセットには、1967年のデビュー・アルバム『Vanilla Fudge』（モノラルおよびステレオ・ヴァージョン）、1968年のセカンド・アルバム『The Beat Goes On』（モノラルおよびステレオ・ヴァージョン）、同年のサード・アルバム『Renaissance』、1969年の『Near the Beginning』と『Rock & Roll』に加え、1969年のフィルモア・ウェスト公演を収録した2CD、セッションのアウトテイクやレアなシングル曲を収録した2CDが収められており、全曲オリジナル・マスターテープから新たにリマスターされています。

当時のバンドには、マーク・スタイン（vo／key）、ヴィンス・マーテル（g／vo）、ティム・ボガート（b／vo）、カーマイン・アピス（ds／vo）がフィーチャーされ、1967年のデビュー・アルバムからシングル・りりースされた「You Keep Me Hunging On」（シュープリームスのカヴァー）は、全米トップ10ヒットになりました。

なお、ボックスセットには、マーク・スタインとカーマイン・アピスの独占インタヴューを掲載したイラスト入りブックレットが付きます。
