クリス・スクワイアのトリビュート・アルバムがリリース

イエスの創立メンバーの一人で、2015年6月27日に67歳で他界したクリス・スクワイアのトリビュート・アルバム『A Life In Yes: The Chris Squire Tribute』が、アメリカで11月9日、イギリスで11月23日に発売されます。アルバムには、2曲のボーナス曲を含め、全12曲が収録されています。

この作品には、トッド・ラングレン、スティーヴ・ポーカロ（TOTO）、アニー・ハズラム（ルネッサンス）、パトリック・モラーツ（イエス／ムーディー・ブルース）、ジョン・デイヴィソン（イエス）、スティーヴ・ハケット（ジェネシス）、ドゥイージル・ザッパらが参加、プロデューサーは、現イエスのベーシストで、スクワイアの友人でコラボレーターだったビリー・シャーウッドが担当しました。

ベーシストだったスクワイアは、1968年のイエス結成から2015年に亡くなるまで、バンドに在籍していた唯一のオリジナル・メンバーで、1969年から2014年の全スタジオ・アルバムで演奏しています。
