ジョニー・マー、ザ・キラーズの北米ツアーでザ・スミスをカヴァー

ジョニー・マーが、8月19日に開幕したザ・キラーズの北米ツアーで前座を務めており、初日のバンクーバー公演では、オープニングのステージで、ザ・スミスのカヴァー「Panic」「This Charming Man」「How Soon Is Now?」や、デペッシュ・モードのカヴァー「I Feel You」など9曲を披露しました。

また、同公演ではキラーズのステージにも参加し、ザ・スミスのカヴァー「Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before」と「There Is a Light That Never Goes Out」を共演しています。

翌8月20日のシアトル公演では、前座の後、キラーズのアンコールに登場し、ザ・スミスの「There Is a Light That Never Goes Out」と「What She Said」、キラーズの「Mr. Brightside」を共演。上記2公演からファンが撮影したライヴ映像がいくつか公開されています。

なお、キラーズの北米ツアーは10月10日に幕を閉じ、11月21日から12月19日までニュージーランド/オーストラリア・ツアーが続きます。
