ニール・ヤングの新トリビュート・アルバム『Heart of Gold』から2曲公開

ニール・ヤングの新トリビュート・アルバムの第1弾『Heart of Gold：The Songs of Neil Young Vol. 1』が、4月25日にチャリティ・アルバムとしてリリースされることになりました。

このアルバムには、エディ・ヴェダー、ブランディ・カーライル、フィオナ・アップル、マムフォード＆サンズ、シャロン・ヴァン・エッテン、ドゥービー・ブラザーズ＆アリソン・ラッセル、スティーヴ・アールらがカヴァーしたヤングの名曲が14曲収録されており、同作からコートニー・バーネットによる「Lotta Love」と、クリス・ピアースによる「Southern Man」のミュージック・ビデオが公開されています。

アルバムの収益金は、ヤングと亡き元妻のペギーが設立したブリッジ・スクール（障がいを持つ子供たちを支援する学校）に全額寄付され、プレスリリースによると、トリビュート・アルバムの第2弾となる『Volume 2』も間もなく発表されるそうです。
