ザ・キンクスが、7月11日に発売されるアンソロジー・アルバム第3弾『The Journey – Part 3』（5月19日MLCニュース）から、未発表ライヴ音源「Sunny Afternoon（Live at the Royal Albert Hall, 1993）」を公開しました。

アンソロジー・アルバムの第1弾『The Journey – Part 1』と第2弾『The Journey – Part 2』は2023年にリリースされており（2023年2月16日／10月3日MLCニュース）、今回の『The Journey – Part 3』が、同シリーズの最後になります。

2CD、2LPおよびストリーミング／ダウンロードでリリースされる『The Journey – Part 3』には、バンドの変革期にあたる1977年から1984年までのRCA／アリスタ時代の楽曲が網羅され、ディスク＃1に、バンドが選曲した当時の名曲やヒット曲のリマスター版、ディスク＃2に1993年7月11日のロンドン・ロイヤル・アルバート・ホール公演の未発表ライヴ音源がフィーチャーされています。
