ニール・ヤングが16年ぶりに「On The Beach」をライヴ演奏

ニール・ヤング＆プロミス・オブ・ザ・リアルが、7月9日にベルギーのアントワープで公演を行い、めったに演奏することのない「On the Beach」を披露しました。この曲は、1974年のアルバム『On the Beach（邦題：渚にて）』に収録されていますが、ヤングがこの曲をライヴ演奏するのは、2003年のソロ公演以来16年ぶりで、フルバンドでのパフォーマンスは、1974年のクロスビー、スティルス、ナッシュ＆ヤングのツアー以来45年ぶりとなります。

ニール・ヤング＆プロミス・オブ・ザ・リアルは、7月12日の「ブリティッシュ・サマータイム・フェスティバル」で、ボブ・ディランと共同ヘッドライナーを務めることになっています。（11月28日MLCニュース参照）
