グレイトフル・デッドが新しいボックスセット『Pacific Northwest ’73-’74: The Complete Recordings』を15,000セット限定発売

9月7日に発売される今回のボックスセットでは、グレイトフル・デッドが1973年6月22日、24日、26日に行った3公演と、1974年5月17日、19日、21日に行った3公演、合計6公演をリマスターし、19枚のCDに収録。デジタル・ダウンロードも可能となります。

1974年に行われたジャムは、30年に及ぶ彼らのツアー・キャリアの中で、最も素晴らしい即興的な演奏と言われ、グレイトフル・デッドがそれまでにステージで演奏した最もピュアな音楽とも言われていますが、特に1974年5月19日のポートランド公演で演奏した「Truckin'」は、ベスト・オブ・ザ・ベストと言われているそう。いずれにしてもデッドヘッズは、また財布の紐を緩めるしかなさそうです。
