モット・ザ・フープルのボックスセットが11月に発売
モット・ザ・フープルがアイランド・レコーズ時代にリリースしたアルバムとボーナス曲を収録した6枚組CDのボックスセット『Mental Train: The Island Years 1969-1971』が、11月2日に発売されます。
CD4枚に収録されているアルバムは、『Mott the Hoople』 (1969)、『Mad Shadows』 (1970)、『Wildfire』 (1970)、『Brain Capers』 (1971)で、それぞれのアルバムにAB面の曲、デモ、リハーサルや別ヴァージョンのテイクなど、８～９曲のボーナス・トラックが追加されています。
上記4枚のCDの他、5枚目のCDには、アイランド・レコーズ時代にリリースしなかった未発表のバラード曲が収録され、6枚目のCDには、1970年9月13日と1971年12月30日に行われたライヴの音源が収録されています。
4枚のスタジオ・アルバムは、オリジナル・テープからリマスタリングされ、ボックスセットには、ライナーノートが掲載された50ページのブックレット付。収録曲「Rock And Roll Queen」の一部がSpotifyで試聴可能となっています。
